TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Thank you for choosing Bramble House Bed and Breakfast, where you will be most welcome. When making this booking you are entering into an agreement so please read the terms and conditions carefully as confirmation of a booking is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
To confirm a booking a non-refundable deposit is required within seven (7) days of booking. Reservations are not guaranteed without the payment of a deposit or pre-payment - for stays of one night, only full payment is required on booking. You should not consider the room reserved until acknowledgement of the deposit is received by you. Bookings made online will be confirmed by e-mail.
The non-refundable deposit is the cost of the first night with the full balance being payable on departure. In the event of part cancellation or failure to arrive on the agreed date, for whatever reason including illness, a cancellation charge will also be levied.
If you need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible, notice of cancellation should be confirmed in writing or by email. It is recommended that you purchase travel insurance, as you may be able to reclaim any cancellation charges.
In accordance with UK legislation, Bramble House operates a no-smoking policy in all areas (including the car park) and any offending guests may be asked to leave.
Please remember that this is a Bed and Breakfast, and as such our family home. Please take care with our accommodation and leave it in the condition you found it on arrival. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages that you cause to the room or its contents. Please report any as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but you may be sent an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. We reserve the right to charge for damage or to recover our insurance excess from you. In the event of spoilage to furnishings and bedding, you may be liable to either professional cleaning costs or the cost of replacement if the former is unsuccessful or inappropriate, an additional charge may be made if you did not report this. Hot/takeaway food must not be consumed in the room. However, at reasonable times, warmed plates and cutlery may be provided for your use in the dining room.
Bramble House reserves the right to terminate, without notice, an individual's stay due to unacceptable behaviour or because of actions likely to endanger or offend others, (the non-compliance of the no-smoking policy could constitute termination). In such circumstances, the outstanding account must be settled and no refunds will be made.
If you have a complaint please have the good manners to tell us personally. Any faults or complaints you may have should be reported at the time of the occurrence so that we may be given the opportunity of remedying it. Failure of any equipment or utilities will be dealt with promptly. All equipment is maintained on a regular basis.
In the unlikely event that a major event forces the closure of the room, we will give you as much notice as possible and will refund any monies paid by you. This being the full limitation of our responsibility to you, we cannot accept liability for any of travel costs or related expenses but will assist in finding you alternative accommodation.
Car parking is available for your private use but you park your vehicle at your own risk. We do not accept liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions whatsoever, unless proven to be caused by our negligence. You are recommended to have, and are responsible for, insurance to cover personal effects and money. Bramble House cannot be held liable for any damage or loss of personal items during your stay. A safety deposit box is provided for your use.
We welcome a maximum of two children up to the age of thirteen (13) and can provide a highchair and travel cot but you are asked to provide bedding for the cot. Children of any age must be in the company of a responsible adult at all times, and should never be left alone in the room. Children may feel free to play in the garden but should always be accompanied by an adult who takes full responsibility for them at all times.
A nominal child price applies for all meals taken with an adult.
The room will be available to you from 3.00 p.m. until 9.00 p.m. on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. If you are planning to arrive after 9.00 p.m., please call a few days before to give us your approximate arrival time. You are requested to vacate the room by 10.30 on the morning of departure.
We cannot accommodate pets as we have pets of our own but please note that our pets are kept away from all areas of the house occupied by guests and will not come into contact with any guests.
Unfortunately, we do not have any disabled facilities.
Please enjoy your stay at Bramble House and thank you for your booking.
